Bottled 33cl (Beer Planet, BB 05/2010)
Bottle says 7%, so most likely brewed at Crombe.
Hazy orange-yellow color, decent white head, lots of floating yeast. Aroma is spicey with sour apple, soap and lemon. Medium to full bodied. Fruity with overriped peach, pineapple and some harsh exotic notes. Very yeasty too. Messy.

Bottle from Utobeer Market Stall. Cloudy dark orange pour with a white head which doesn’t stick around for long. Nuts, ginger, sweet spices, caramel and tangerine aromas. Picked up a bit of citrus in the flavour with a hint of toffee, cloves and cinnamon. Dry, spicy action with some bitterness. Not too bad.

bottle shared with Tomaz. pours cloudy golden, thick white head. aroma had something unique not typical to most Belgian strong ales, something of fermented white grapes with a blossom hops and yeast. Found it to be sweet and reminiscent to the Bloemenbiek beer. Flavors, yeasty, some caramel malts, honey like palate, sweet with some raisins, hay/attic flavors. Tasty and surely doesn’t feel like 8.3%

(bottle, 75cl) Cloudy, amber colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly dusty malty and restrained fruity aroma with a rusty touch of metal. Yeasty bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Cara-malty, subtle fruity taste with light hoppy notes; moderately dry, slightly fruity and sweaty hoppy finish. 03.II.10

Bottle (the label says 6.8%):Deep golden to light amber coloured, hazy, small but rocky off-white head, that quickly collapses; vegetables and yeast, metal and butter in the ´nose; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, astonishingly light bodied for a beer of 6.8%; sourish-sweetish fruity finish, followed by a little tartness. Tastes better than it smells.......

13th March 2008. Had a few by this rating! Don’t remember much other than it was a dry and sour cherry beer.

75cl bottle at DHVL, thanks to Ken, madmitch76. Beautiful orange amber colour with a big head. Can’t fault it for appearance. Decent Belgian ale with some must from the age, some orange flavours, even a bit of candied peel, Pretty good. 1993 vintage.

33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Gold with a **** load of floaters. Thick lasting white head. Sweetish tripel aroma. It’s an ok strong blond really more than a tripel. It’s fine. Nothing remarkable, like a hundred other Belgian blondes, maybe with a bit of peachy tripel fruit. Bit of pukey malt. Again, not great. Had a run of poorish bottled beers this evening.
