Bottle (2023) shared by Steve. Opaque black w/ring of head & no lacing. Aroma is fruity bourbon, plasticine. Taste follows aroma. Smooth texture, full bodied, average carbonation, some alcohol heat, finish as taste. Barrel obliterates all other adjuncts. A fake, waxy quality in there as well. Was really looking forward to this Basil Hayden treatment.

Can, from Half Time Mamaroneck. Pours extremely hazy lemon yellow with a very small frothy off-white head, faint citrus peel aroma, adequate carbonation, bitter grapefruit-pineapple taste, thin body, long bitter finish. On the bitter side!

Can @ Broadway Dive Bar, Manhattan. (5/8/23) Pours hazy pale yellow with a large foamy off-white head, lemon peel aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter lemon peel taste with a curious lack of any sweetness at all, unripe mango flavor that comes out later, smooth thin body, long lemon peel finish. Decent NEIPA.
