We named our brewery after Gavin's generous, adventurous and glamorous grandmother, Hetty Alice Frink, and we seek to honor her with every pint. We live in Portland with our tiny human and huge dog.

This has a pale malt character, moderate bitterness. The hop character comes together - not a lot of individualistic elements...some apple/pear stuff and then maybe a bit of grape. Balanced, though I'd prefer more bitterness.

473mL can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is surprisingly dank, with lots of bright tangy vinous hops, and a touch of musty white grape skins. Flavour is quite bitter, with melony hops, lots of hop tang, white wine grape must, and finishing dry and bitter. Excellent.

473mL can. Pours hazy pale gold with a white head. Tons of dankness and some deep Nelson on the nose. Flavour has less prominent dankness, though still there in the mix, good tangy Nelson expression, and a dry musty white wine character. This comes together very well, a great combination of grape must and hops.

16 oz. can, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Nose is moderately dank, with plenty of tangy hops, bright melon, and some bitter pine. Flavour bursts with melony and other tropical fruity hops, some white wine tang, moderate pine, and a hint of dankness. Great expression of the Mosaic and Motueka in particular. Wonderfully balanced, finishing tangy and only lightly bitter. Excellent.

16 oz. can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose is very citrusy, with plenty of citrusy hops and citrus peel, with a crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is much the same, with citrusy hops, only a touch of citrus peel, floral notes, and fairly dry biscuity malt, finishing only gently bitter and lightly juicy. It’s good, but I prefer their not adjuncted IPAs, as the hops shined better.

Gold colour. Not much head. There's a lot of hop on the aroma. On the palate, this is lean...I mean there's still some malt sweetness, but it has a light body and a fairly dry finish. Medium bitterness, herbaceous accents.
