On tap at brewery. Pours clear pale gold with white head. Aroma has oily resin, caramel malts, and pine. Flavour leans too heavily into sweet, syrupy malts; some good pine character. Way too off-balance with the syrupy malts.

On tap at brewery. Pours clear yellow with a white head. Aroma has dry grass and honey. Flavour has dry grass, gentle honey-like sweetness, and dry carbonation. The sweetness is a bit off-putting for a pilsner.

On tap at Steeplejack, pours a clear copper amber with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out toasted bread crusts, rye bread, and a little roasted sweet potato. Flavour is soft, with bready malt, not much else. Clean and drinkable, but nothing special even compared to the peak of the style.

On tap at Steeplejack, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma has sweet stone fruit, some syrupy malt, and subdued resinous hop oils. Flavour is overly malted, with too much syrupy caramel malt going on; there's some resinous hops in there, but they're overtaken by the sweet syrupy malt. This doesn't work for me.

On tap at Steeplejack, pours a clear dull golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, light pine, and some sweet cereal malt to back. Flavour is oily, with lots of resinous hops, some piney hop oils, and just enough sweet biscuity malt to back. Expertly balanced, with great hop expression. Excellent.

On tap at Steeplejack, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has some gentle, sweet tropical fruits, light grassy hops, and biscuity malt. Flavour has a somewhat strange herbal character, with some woody soil-like notes. Crisp and bright but not the greatest hop character. Meh.

On tap at Steeplejack, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma has some unfermented wort, grassy hops, light pine, and biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly bright, with grassy hops, crisp crackery malt, and straw. Fairly bright with higher than average carb. Nothing special but well-made.
