Taster at Steeplejack. Medium, clear brown, patchy head. Light sweet, malty aroma. Sweetness really pops in the taste, malty, smooth, toffee. Really nice.

Cask pour at Steeplejack. Dark brown, off-white soapy head. Roasty, nutty aroma. Taste brings a sweet edge along with some mellow bitterness and smoky notes. Spot on.

Dark gold body with white head. Light spicy and herb aroma. Malty taste with a spice note. I would say this is very much like a standard Wallonian boerhuis saison made with lager yeast.

Rather like a west coast IPA. Medium white head with orange body. Citrus hop aroma. Tasty body with enough malt to keep it from being an IPA

On tap at Steeplejack, pours a cloudy copper orange with a small white head. Aroma is chaotic, with perfumey notes, booze and resinous hops. Flavour is chaotic and syrupy, with booze, perfumey floral hops, sweet resins, and candi sugar. This is a huge mess. Syrupy and cloying, with nothing balanced and the booze very apparent. Poor.

5/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 6 Flavor 4 Texture 4 Overall 4
On tap at Steeplejack, pours a clear copper with a small white bhead we. Aroma is quite oily and dank, with lots of resinous hop oils, gentle pine, some dankness, and sweet biscuity malt. Flavour is syrupy and cloying, with resinous hop oils, some pine, and very sweet caramel malt. Cloying and syrupy—this is barely drinkable. What a mess. Incompetent.

5.2/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 5 Texture 4 Overall 5
On tap at Steeplejack, pours an opaque cloudy muddled orange with a small white head. Aroma is a bit muddled, with earthy hops, pine needles, and biscuity malt to back. Flavour is very muddled, with a poor expression — there's faded earthiness and pine, with lots of dirty yeast. Something didn't go right here. Dirty and lacking precision.
