On tap at the Garden City brewery. Milky cloudy orange light beige pour. Nice creamy off white head. Big German yeast banana notes. Smooth soft palate and smooth finish. Delicious

On tap at the new Garden City location. Foggy thick orange with a dense lasting white head. Moderate German hef heast character. A little bready and a soft smooth palate. Mild.

Draft at Brown Beard. Near black pour, one finger beige head. Aroma is dominated by the roasty malts. Taste is roasty, smoky, chocolate with the bourbon cropping up at the back. Sweetness up front, bitter finish, light boozy notes.

Draft at Brown Beard. Hazy golden pour, one finger dense white head. Faint citrusy aroma. Taste amps up quickly, bitter, fruity, citrus zesty. Quite a bite.

Taster at Brown Beard. Hazy golden with ring of head, solid lacing. Coffee is all over the aroma, bitter. Taste too, all coffee. Very bitter. Not my cup of tea...er, coffee....

Smoked Maple Bacon Brown Ale from Brown Beard Brewing Co.

Taster at brewery. Dark, clear brown, thin head, solid lacing. Soft maple aroma, not overly sweet, like maple syrup on buttered pancakes. Taste brings in the lightly toasted malts, nutty flavors with a bit of bitterness, and sweet maple.

Taster at Brown Beard. Dark, clear brown, lacks the perfect head of the weissbier. Light weizens notes with some toasted malts, nutty, sweet. Good all around.

Taster at Brown Beard. Hazy orange golden pour thick fluffy head. Yeasty aroma, light banana. Taste hits the mark, doughy, yeasty, Clive, banana, bubblegum, all the usual culprits. Mouthfeel is extraordinary too. Moved to the top of my American weizens.
