Fles in Duitsland gekocht thuis geprobeerd. Hey is een helder goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige en hoppige geur. De smaak is vol moutig, metaalachtig, bitter en hoppig.

Bottle. Clear gold featuring a good white head. Aroma and taste of grains and bread. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Quite alright - especially for a Paderborner - if you just want to pound a few brews with your friends who are stingy by ways of tradition.

500ml bottle. Clear, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Grainy and strawy, rather pale malty aroma, a touch of rock sugar. Taste is grainy, strawy pale malty, minimally sugary, dark malty, quite metallic, a touch of malt lozenge, a very subtle nutty touch, some sugary sweetness, even a touch of artificial sweetener. Watery texture, dry, minimally repellent palate, medium, prickly carbonation. No hints of roast, more like a slightly sugared and hued Helles - meh!

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a creamy and lacing, off-white head. Crisp, malty nose with some aromatic hops. Clean, malty body, slight caramelly sweetness with some faint, bittering hops. Delicious if a little to the sweet side. 250123
