Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 04/02/24. Clear, still and calm looking, golden to light amber ... some bubbles form at the edge of the vessel. Nose is honey, candied orange peel, floral, sugars, water melon. Taste comprises honey, sugars, melon, floral, perfume, syrup and figs. Full bodied, light oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Solid well balanced straight up mead.

500ml square bottle from HOTM. My #100 Mead rating. Clear deep golden colour, no head and aroma of honey, floral, spice hint. Taste is sweet, honey, flowery, mellow, booze, with alittle spice, some straw and hay. Oily mouthfeel, full bodied, low carbonation, sweet warming boozy finish with some lingering straw notes. Nicely sippable.
