Goryczka poniżej średniej, ale generalnie przyjemna, treściwości trochę niestety brakuje, wysycenie w normie, generalnie niezły balans i w miarę przyzwoita pijalność. Jak najbardziej stylowe Red IPA, jednak brakuje nieco większej goryczki i intensywniejszego aromatu.

On tap at House of Beer, Krakow, two years ago. Black with short lasting creamy head. Chocolate, alcohol, blueberry’s and prunes. Quite sweet, bitter chocolate, dry finish. Full body, medium to high carbonation. A bit dry but otherwise excellent!

Barwa: czerwono-miedziana, idealnie klarowne. Piana: koloru jasno beżowego, obfita, drobno pęcherzykowa, trwała, opadając zdobi szkło. Smak: karmelowy z żelazem i mało ciekawą łodygową goryczką , wysycenie średnie do niskiego, średnia pełnia. Słaba interpretacja stylu poza dobrym porterem Amber nie posiada dla mnie nic ciekawego do zaoferowania.

From a 500ml bottle on 4/6/2016 (ABV listed as 6.3% rather than 6.5%). Pours an opaque amber with a biggish head which disappears. The aroma is very malty - all caramel and toffee. Take a sip and there’s more caramel and toffee, brown sugar, rye bread and a bit of dark fruit in the background. Finishes with a modest bitterness. Has a slick texture and moderate carbonation. Very much heading towards dessert territory, this is really lovely stuff, and hugely under-rated on here imo.

Bottle from the Polish delicatessen, opposite The Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Black-brown with a very thin head. Not very cherry, although there is a hint of this in its taste, and not very stout either in terms of its taste, although it is very smooth. Here there’s a light sweetness. Its aroma does have a light roasted maltiness about it.

Barwa bursztynowa, klarowne, piana w kolorze ecru, drobna, całkiem obfita. W aromacie słodowość lagerowa, trochę karmelu i nut chlebowych, lekka drożdżowość. W smaku lekko kwaskowe, drożdżowe, mało się dzieje, poza słodowością i lekkim karmelem. Goryczka niska, treściwość też, wysycenie średnie, pijalność nienajlepsza. Dosyć słabo, po prostu nieco pełniejszy jasny lager.
