Keg at the brewpub, 12/11/14. Dark amber/chestnut brown with a decent light beige covering. Nose is sweet, biscuit, light perfume, red grapefruit. Taste comprises sweet ntoes, caramel malt, brown sugars, candied citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. This is an American Strong Ale - NOT an English one, way to sweet and not enough bitter balance. Too sweet, lacks balance and finesse.

Taste comprises big peaty tones, smoked malt, TCP, bacon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a lapsang souchong rinse in the close. Ok smoked number.

Keg at the taproom, SD, 12/11/14. Black with a decent tan covering and edgework. Nose is earthy roast, light spice, chocolate, dark toffee, hoppy back notes. Taste comprises roast malt, spice, liqourice, chocolate. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a subtle hoppy overcoat. Decent stout.

Keg at the taproom, SD, 12/11/14. Hazed light golden topped with a mdoerately appointed off white swirl. Nose is pissy citrics, apricot, sweet notes, straw, yeast esters. Taste comprises straw, light spice, tangy citrics, apricot, pineapple jus. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok saison, a little chewy and sweet for the style though, doesn’t deliver the refreshement I crave from the style.

Taste comprises light booze, pine needles, sticky tropicana, mango, grapefruit, mineral rinse. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Ok DIPA.
