Can, huge thanks Miro & Elena for sharing! Hazy orange body, off-white head. Citric, bit peachy aroma, light oxidation. Very similar taste, citric, peachy, lightly oxidized and honeyish. Welp, seems very decent, just isn't fresh so not gonna be harsh.

A small taste @ Remedy, cellar's treasures tasting. Pours cloudy yellow with a medium head. Aroma is malts with citrus and broth. Flavor is bitter malts, citrus, hops. Decent, even if the smell is bad.

Slight roasty coffee nose, a bit of caramel. Slightly thin

Setouchi Beer x Shiokaze Shikoku Showcase: Hazy DIPA Grapefruit, mango, peach 8.5% Opaque golden honey orange color with a thick fluffy off-white head of foam. This was still chilled but had warmed up quite a bit. The aroma has some dank double IPA oily hoppiness to it with citrus and pine notes. Fairly full in body with a slick mouthfeel. The taste gave some sweet mango with dank piney hops with pithy grapefruit also showing up. The label says peach but I didn’t detect any. Very much a double IPA on the sweeter bitter end of the spectrum and while it looks hazy/opaque the taste isn’t really juicy. Really good stuff and worth trying. Out of the newer breweries Setouchi seems pretty solid in my book.

Setouchi Beer x Shiokaze Shikoku Showcase: Rye IPA 6.5% Pretty orange gold color with a light beige soapy looking head of foam. The aroma is a mouth watering peppery rye and bright woodsy green piney and citrus hops. Medium bodied and smooth with loads of bitter green hops up front, malt sweetness and spicy rye notes in the finish. I’m really digging this one.

Tap at Craft House. More like a contract brew while Nude brewing gets set up. Bright gold. Biscuits and crackers in the nose, with bright citrus hops. Herbal and citrus hop flavor is very nice, as is the crackery malt. Amazing body for 3% abv. Crisp and full. Grassy, bitter finish. Excellent. Best 3% beer I have had in a long time.

Setouchi 2022 IPA I am kind of wondering if the name is referring to the 2022 edition of the art biennale… Hazy honey gold with a thick fluffy bright white head of foam. It’s got a rich aroma of woodsy prickly pear with dank fruitiness. Full bodied and smooth with a juicy woodsy fruitiness up front then a dank bitterness in the finish. Some elements seem to be on the haze spectrum but others feel more standard ipa so I’d say this is roughly a mountain ipa. Good stuff, I’m quite happy and impressed with this new brewery. I look forward to trying more of their stuff.

Hanshin Racecourse x Setouchi Centaur IPA 6% Matte gold with decent foam which doesn’t like. Spritzy citrus and dank pine aroma. Medium to full bodied the taste is the same. Zesty citrus with slightly dank resinous hoppiness. Pretty nice classic west coast ipa which combined with the cute/cool labels makes for a promising start. Decent value too at 550¥ or so a can, they’ve also recently been popping up on tap around Osaka lately.
