Not a very exciting tripel, quite mediocre in all aspects. Brewed for the lager-loving masses I think.

33cl. the beer starts alcoholic, sweet and smooth. Banana, clove, yellow fruit. The mainpart is slightly bitter, but round and well balanced. The aftertaste is long, quite sweet, but full of flavour - clove, banana, yeasty smoothness… and alcohol…
--> Without the sharp alcoholic note it would be even better! --> 12/10/12/12

Thx! 33 cl. bottle sampled @ Bierkaffee ’t Middelpunt in Zolder. Hazy golden with a white head. Nose is sweet fruity but like apple juice, applesauce, Turkish candy, syrup, white sugar, syrup, very sweet. Taste doesn’t add entirely up either, apple juice & commercial applesauce, some chemicals, huge white sugar, syrup, overly sweet BE yeast,… Body too much yeast, oddly oily. This one of those dull BE blonds that veers too much into unpleasant flavours probably in an attempt to cut corners & please everyone. It is manageable still & drinkable for certain.

Aroma rather musty and stale. Flavour initially cardboard and wet dog before the extreme syrupy sweetness kicks in.
