Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber reddish color with a longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity malty yeasty caramel aroma. Sweetish malty yeasty caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty yeasty toasted caramel finish.

330ml Bottle (de Garre, Brugge) - Golden with a foamy white head. Yeast, banana and malt feature in the aroma. Fruity and fairly bitter taste with notes of yeast and fruit standing out. Not bad.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a lots of floaties and a small white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast a little corriander and spice. Flavor is Belgian yeast with some green hops and a decent orange zest toward the end. Nothing really stands out like it should in a triple, kinda watery triple if there could be such a thing. Not the most flavorful tripel.

5/II/2012 33cl bottle late 80s vintage @ vintage tasting Brugs Bierfestival - BB: n/a (2012-1224) Thanks to JimRittchart for the sample!

Note: from lost notes earlier this year, found again!
Clear dark orange beer, pretty big aery big bubbled off-white to beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: dry, cardboard, dusty, maybe a little spicy, definitely off. Taste: about the same as the smell. The beer has died over this time. If I ever come across a fresh one, I'll rerate it.
