Bottle: Poured a brown amber with white color head and lots of carbonation. Fruity hoppy aroma. The taste was a sweet floral and alcohol aftertaste.

(Bottle) Pale amber colour, slightly hazy, with huge, firm off-white head. Fruity, spicy, rather sweet nose with notes of yeast, caramel and canned fruit. Rather sharp alcohol notes as well. Fruity, spicy taste with notes of dried apricots, caramel, canned fruit, raisins and a sweet, fiery finish with warming alcohol notes. Tasty, a bit unbalanced, but not at all bad. Thanks to the Satyricon banana boys for this one.

Reddish tinted orange beer, slightly hazy; good pinkish head, leaving textbook lace. Fruity, but not at all lambick-y. There’s some hops discernible, which is very surprising, historically speaking. Very fruity initial taste, travelling towards near nauseating grainy, porridge-like flavour. The onset, even slightly sourish, is the ONLY reference to this once superb beer from the 70-80’s (which used to be a mix of spontaneously fermented beer and top-fermenting ale). Medium bodied; refreshing but not overly sour. Aftertaste is a bit perfumed, like a bathroom product. Disappointing? Seen what I remember from this beer of yore, that doesn’t come even close. I cannot dissociate it from my memory - but in itself this is not at all bad, just average.

Golden amber with white bubbles for head. Smell was very sweet and presence of skunkiness. Started of sour citrus malt, but finished with a sweet finish.

Bottled at the beer-fair at the Belgian Embassy in Oslo. Rating no 666, entered on the 6th day of the 6th month of the 6th year in the second millennium. Maybe a bad thing to do? It had to be a Satan. A slightly hazy beer, orange in color. Small off-white head. Too much alcohol in the aroma. Hops, malt and candi as well. A bit too weak flavor with malt and hops, and alcohol. Medium body with nice carbonation. Not too good, due to the alcohol-domination. (060328)

Bottled. Sparkling, golden beer with an off-white head. Pleasant, sweet, quite weak aroma with cellar-notes. The flavor has some acidity with sweetness and cellar/yeast-notes. Medium body with some fizzyness. (060328)
