Bottled. Sparkling, golden beer with an off-white head. Pleasant, sweet, quite weak aroma with cellar-notes. The flavor has some acidity with sweetness and cellar/yeast-notes. Medium body with some fizzyness. (060328)

Bottle. Beautiful mostly lasting big head. Color is light golden. Aroma is fresh and fruity. Taste is a bit sour and acidic, but still good.

Bottled. Beautiful clear red-orange-brown beer with a small white head. Weak malty aroma with some hops. The flavor is quite weak too, with malts and hops. Medium body with some acidity at the end. Nice lager-reminding ale. (060328)

Bottle. Deep copper/red colour with lasting thick head. Not as bad a I was expecting. Hops are ok. nice malts with red fruits. Feels more like a lager in the mouth. Finish has similar malt hop mix. Bit of pine or plastic?

Reddsish, amber, quite clear body. Pinkish rocky head. Excellent lace. Aroma of yoghut, strawberry liquor, but just the aroma, not the alcohol. Moderately bitter, lightly sour flavour.

(bottle) Cloudy amber coloured hue with big yeast particles floating around and a mid-sized off-white head. A bit shy nose of fruits, sweet malts, yeasts and a spicy touch. Sweet flavour, medium body, fizzy carbonation. Yeasty and malty taste with a fruity tinge; the alcohol becomes apparent in the middle, almost dry, slightly bitter and tart finish with yeasts and spice.

(bottle) Clear golden and effervescent hue with a stable foamy white/yellow medium head. Sweet malty aroma with fruits (peach, orange) and traces of alcohol and grass. Sweet flavour, medium body, lively carbonation. Initially strong malty taste with peach; yeasty and clove-spicy and slightly alcoholic.

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by a dense, off-white head. Alcohol, white sugar and fruits on the nose and in the flavor, rather uninteresting both, but not bad. Medium to full body, warming, and with a pleasant bitterness in the end. I guess my palate has changed a bit since last rating, almost five years ago. It’ s still not a bad beer, but I’ll take a Duvel over this one anytime. Rating: 4-3-4-3-8-2.2. 100521

Bottle. It pours a slightly unclear golden body under a small, white head leaving some lacings. Fruity nose with some alcohol and yeast. Rather generic fruityness that is. Very carbonated, quite warming and a bit thin on the palate. Very alcoholic in the end. Fruit, sugar and some yeast in the flavor, decent bitterness to prevent it from going out of balance. Well, last time I rated it, it obviously didn’t do me any good. This time it’s better, but it’s still far from reacing Duvel’s levels, way too focused on the alcohol as it is. 101105
