Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is grainy malt with bready notes. Picking up some light floral notes and a hint of citrus, but the aroma is very modest. Mostly bready grain. Flavour is moderate bitter, body is medium. Doesn't cut it as a Farmhouse Ale at all.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orange, dark golden colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Spicy and wheaty malty, minimally citrusy fruity aroma, peppery-spicy hints of coriander, a touch of orange peel. Taste is dry, wheaty malty with very little residual sweetness, spicy with peppery hints of coriander, minimally zesty, citrusy fruity with weak hints of orange peel. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, mild, balanced and homogeneous - not bad.
Grassig, bittertje, mouten, gist smaken, ben er niet weg van om eerlijk te wezen. Komt ook niet echt binnen als een farmhouse.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierloods22', best before January 2023. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a large, dense, stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, a little yeasty aroma of peach, orange and light clove with a touch of honey. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity-floral, a little grassy taste of tangerine, orange, grapefruit and light honey, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly grassy finish. Medium to full body, very smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Tasty, refreshing hoppy beer, not really a Farmhouse Ale / Saison though.
