Description

Can at Dokjard, Groningen. Aroma is piney hops with malt, grapefruit, orange, a hint of caramel. Picking up just a little pepper tingle in the aftertaste, but it's fairly subtle. Medium bitter, medium body. Pretty old skool IPA profile.

0.33 l can from 'Just in Beer', best before January 2025. Hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, rather herbal, quite fruity-floral aroma of lemongrass, ginger and pineapple. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, quite herbal-spicy, gently fruity-floral taste of lemongrass, ginger, pineapple and some grains, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent, refreshing ale, not really recognizable as a Witbier anymore though.
