Bottle from Legacy LRS, Vancouver
Hazy golden colour. The aroma is a bit dank, some citrus. Lean modern IIPA, dry, but with some vegetable bitterness in the final.

Draft pour pint at Odin. A mostly clean and clear copper pour. A mixed malt nose, caramel and bready character. Smooth amber, moderate spice to the malt flavor going on. Quite an enjoyable amber here.

Draft pour to a tulip at Odin. A dark caramel reddish color with a thin, oily, active fizz head. Really precise cherry nose here. Fresh cherries, soft Brett funk, some barrel oak, and zero porent indications. Taste is cool up front, but has warming character to it. Makes for a nice sipping beer, but it's too easy to drink for that. Smooth and full of fantastic cherry and oak flavor. Possible bonus points for being my first beer back home after a few dozen overseas, but this was excellent.

Can - Cocoa and toffee notes. Deep amber with a decent beige head. Cocoa and some toffee. Not sure where they are going with this, rich and malty with lots of cocoa.

355ml can. Pours a slightly hazy gold-amber with a medium, frothy, short lived off-white head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of grainy malt, caramel, apple, pear and musty, floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy malt, bread, caramel, apple and yeast with a dry, bitter, floral hop finish. Medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

Hazy, dull amber. Just a thin head. Earthy hops, slightly chewy, maybe a touch biscuity. Orangey hops, but then like this old school chewy, biscuity malt base. A little incongruous blend of hop and malt. Old school DIPA.

On tap. Pours a hazy pale gold with a medium, creamy, long lasting, off-white head, that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of biscuit malt, grapefruit, orange, muddled tropical fruit and pine needles. Sweet fruity flavour of biscuit malt, pithy grapefruit, mango, pineapple, passion fruit and pine needles with a crisp, dry, bitter hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty.

12 oz. can, pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head. Nose brings out plenty of tropical stone fruits, loads of piney hops, some pithy juiciness, and biscuity malt. Flavour is very fruity and fresh-tasting (despite being three months old), with lots of tropical stone fruits, dry piney hops, light resins, and crisp biscuity malt. Fruity, rounded palate, with a dry crisp finish. This is really nice.
