Can from High Point, Vancouver; 7.3% ABV
Hazy blond colour, medium head. Moderate aroma of hops, starting with some weed, then some citrus peel. It's very dry, and the mouthfeel is almost week; not getting any particular vibe from the malt, or from the hops; on the other side, it's innaturally mineral, that's all that can be tasted, especially in the finish, borderline metallic. For me, it needs more body, maybe a touch of sweetness.
Weird. (32 or 33)

473 ml can. Pours a dull amber with moderate head. Aromas of pineapple, dank hops, and soft bready malts. Flavors of guava, mashed pineapple, passionfruit, a little pine and bready malts.

Poured from 473mL can (thanks fiulijn). Slightly hazy dull blond gold with white head. Feint dankness, but moreso a dull herbaceous muted hop profile. Quite underwhelming.

Poured from 473mL can (can specifies Yakima Chief hops prominently - just in case they do different hop varietals in the future; no date stamp). Hazy bright yellow with small white head. Citrus and stone fruit hops, mild dankness, touch of chalk, but otherwise decent.

Hazy, not much head, yellow. Pineapple, guava sort of notes, maybe some stone fruit in there as well. Solid enough.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Blond colour, minimal haze, a bit dull. Mild aroma of herbaceous hops, of citrus peel, and tropical fruit. Quite dry, lean, that's appreciated; even with almost no residual sweetness, it manages to be quite fruity, and this is rare, although the fruit is more an elegant descriptor than a bomb; the bitterness is low.
It's not bery bright, somehow it seems to lack the ooomph, but it's a clean, pleasant DIPA. I'm glad I got a good can, and tasted it on a good day.

Medium brown, toasty, crackery, medium body at best. Some residual sugars lending body.

Pale amber, just a slight haze, bubbly head. Bubblegum and electric wire phenols on the nose. Definitely phenolic but not much good going on really. Mushroomy, medium body, not a ton of bitterness or hop expression. Ferm issues so it's below the standards of either brewery.

Can from High Point, Vancouver
Blond colour, some green and gold, barely hazy. The arom ais nice, it's full of citrus fruit with hints of tropical fruit here and there, lychee, melon. The mouthfeel is off-dry, but the body has a good structure; crispy malt base, mostly, with some unusual mellow element (maybe something else than barley); the hopping is bold, quite bitter, with good aromatic elements, such as orange peel, cedar, piney resins.
Modern IPA; I realize now this is almost 2 months old, but it still delivers; excellent.

Draft pour enjoyed at The Magnet. Dark cola brown pour, patchy lasting head. Toasty forward flavor. Really flavorful lager with a long lasting crispy toast. Smooth overall. Bran cereal nose. Easy drinker, with lots of layered malt. Tasty lager all around.
