Tap at the brewery. Aroma coffee and caramel, smooth, tempting. Light cocoa. Somewhat light. Very dark colour, stable beige head. Taste is smooth again, caramel, cocoa, coffee. Slightly high carbonation, long dry roasty finish. Solid tmavy, full of character.

Tap at the brewery. Aroma is mostly yeasty, seems quite young. Clear golden colour, short lasting head. Taste is watery, light, somewhat metallic, light malty. Filtered too early, matured too short. Drinkable, but not too pleasurable.

Bügelverschlußflasche (Dank an Imrich!): Almost black with a brownish sheen, big creamy off-white head; dryish roast-malty nose, containing a touch of liquorice and dried fruits; dry bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium-bodied; ashy traces in the relatively mild dark-malty and bitter-sweet finish. Nice brew...

Courtesy and thanks to Cuso. Obtained in the “Free beer European edition II” game. Sampled. Dark amber, head is almost instantly gone. Nose is metallic with cheap apple syrup, sycamore maple, touch watery, like lots of non-refined sugars dissolved in a glass of water. Tastes of sycamore maple, palm sugar, brown and beet sugar, touch honey, candy sugar, bit watery, touch vegetable. Messy and mainly just a glass of sugar with some water, same feel, okay. This is probably just me having an unusual pallet again, 4 other people tried this beer and quite enjoyed it.

Courtesy and thanks to Cuso. Obtained in the “Free beer European edition II” game. Sampled. Pours surprisingly dark, very dark brown to black, small non-lasting dark mocha head. Smells of soy sauce, bark, oils, nuts, minerals, charred coffee, odd but intriguing. Tastes of ashes, coffee grounds, burned coffee, touch milk chocolate, roasted malts, black pepper, finish is vegetables and ashes. Body is a touch water and feels like coffee grounds and ashes have been dumped in there. Interesting, enjoyable and not bad but far from stellar.
