Bottle, 25cl, courtesy of Dedollewaitor. A clear, copper-colored beer topped by a dense, off-white head of moderate size. Weak but pleasant nose of cellar, dried fruits and caramel. The flavor doesn’t differ much from the aroma, lacking on sourness I think. Short finish too. Medium body, smooth. A nice one, but too weak. Very easy drinkable. 110311

Draught at Casino. Brown with a light brown head. Aroma of walnuts, vanilla. Taste has a caramel start, then a rapid transition to sourness, vanilla and nuts, then a bitter finish. Very nice.

(bottle, 25cl, as Cnudde Bruin Bier, 4.9% abv) Hazy, opaque colour with a big and slightly beige foamy head. Slightly sweet roast-malty aroma with caramel, a mildly fruity sourness and ashy notes. Slightly sour and sweet flavour, light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Soft roasty malt-character with a mildly fruity acidity including notes of berries and cherries; slim and slightly sour fruity finish. Not overly convincing Oud Bruin. 02.XI.10

Bottle: Poured a reddish color ale with a very small foamy head with almost no retention. Aroma is quite a mess with some unrefined grain and some sweetness but no tart notes or any oak. Taste is also quite a mess with strong unrefined grain notes and some unbalanced sweetness sand no tart or sour notes that I was expecting. I was expecting more but this was quite a letdown.
