Pale gold, chill haze. Thin head. Aroma hints at gloppy malt, some grapefruit hop. Good, rich bitterness. Hop is okay - slight allium, pine and grapefruit but a bit oxidized. Canned end Jan so it’s not like it was turding up, just wasn’t bright. Shot of alcohol in the finish. Malts aren’t gloppy. Ends up okay. Feels like heavier on cascade than centennial, but as always I appreciate chinooky bitterness.

Sample at the Westbound & Down Blake Street taproom. Clear golden color with a medium thick foamy white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Sticky strings of lace. Grassy hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of grassy hop, citrus and earthy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

On tap at brewery. Pours clear amber with off-white head. Aroma has toffee malts and some dry fibres. Flavour has gentle dry toffee malts and some dry hops. Pretty boring.
