Draught at Newcastle Beer & Cider Fest 2019. Hazy golden colour, no head and fleshy apple aroma. Taste is tangy fleshy apple, alittle apple core, with alittle funky vinegar notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, semi-dry tangy finish. Quite drinkable

Bottle at home, 5.8%. Clear golden with soft fizzy short lasting head. Quite some barnyard, light sweet apple, soft earthy, a touch of mold, dead leaves, dry pears, mineral, apple peel. Just medium sweet, light bitter and tart. Almost medium bodied with sparkling carbonation and medium dry finish. Quite decent.

500ml bottle from Gloucester Services. Pours clear gold, aroma suggests a good tannic character. Taste is indeed highly tannic, with a sharp acidity typical of Severns usual output. Nice fleshy fruit, bright and flavoursome.

500ml bottle (5.2%) from Gloucester Services Farm Shop. Pours clear gold, aroma has light floral perfumed perry pear fruit. Taste continues in a similar fashion, some light tannins, gentle sour with a floral perfumed sweetness, tightening tannic finish, not so sharp, fairly easy-going. Nice summery perry.

500ml bottle from Gloucester Services Farm Shop. Pours clear gold, small white ring. Aroma has sharp, medium sweet apple fruit. Taste is sharp, medium acidity with gentle tannins, good crisp sour bite. Nice sweetness, but also possessing a pleasant dry side as well.

500ml bottle from Scrattings. Bright golden colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of funky apple, woody. Taste is tangy apple, earthy barnyard funk, oak vanilla with drying tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, very dry tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
