473ml can. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a large, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves thick patches of soapy lace. Sweet fruity aroma of crackery pale malt, tangerine, mango, strawberry and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of crackery pale malt, grapefruit, cantaloupe, pineapple and piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with an oily to watery texture and average to soft carbonation. Enjoyable.

473mL can, pours a clear copper with a medium white head. Aroma is pretty dull on the hops, with bready malt and a very weak hoppy character. Flavour has sweet biscuity and bready malt, a touch of orange marmalade, and almost no hoppiness. Nothing wrong here, but the hops are nonexistent other than leaving a gentle lingering bitterness. This is driven by the malts, which aren't terribly exciting. Underwhelming.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry straw and biscuity malt. Flavour is dry, with straw, biscuity malt, and gentle hops. Dry, straw-like and biscuity. Good stuff.

473mL can. Pours hazy gold with white head. Aroma has gentle pine, stale fruit, and caramel malts. Flavour has a lot of sweet biscuit malts up front with some citrus and a touch of bitter pine. Nothing bad here per se, but this seems very light on the hops. Not really what I would hope for in a fresh hop beer.

Pale amber, some haze, thin head. Mild malt, like 586 character but not much bitterness. This is a bit weak, definitely needs more bitterness but also a brighter malt note would help.

Pale and slight haze. Doesn’t smell like el dorado but it certainly tastes like it. Simple malt, but lots of hop, so it’s not complex…a touch yeasty and the malt isn’t bright, but if you like el dorado you’ll be plenty happy.

Straw colour, slight haze. Bubbly head. Lots of strata on the nose, body is medium but there’s not much malt character. Drinks weak, the bitterness is okay but it’s almost non-alcy in the way it comes across. The rice undermines the finer attributes of this beer.

473 ml can. Pours a dull gold with light head. Aromas of slightly floral hops, honey, candied fruit and light pine. Flavors follow same with a good dose of biscuity malts. Nice enough.
