Sample from 50 cl bottle. Near black with a thin tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, chocolate, coffee, brown cookies, rum notes. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes drying and dark roasted with lingering boozy notes. Ok.

50 cl bottle. Pours pitch black, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malty. Dark roasted and dense fruity. Solid hoppy, fruity. Dry and herbal. Solid hoppy and fruity finish.

Bottle at Gitta’s. Pours almost black with a slight maroon tint and a medium sized foamy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt, nut, chocolate and dark fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation.

Bottle at KØ17. Sweet liquorice aroma. Black colour. Small head. The flavour is sweet and spicy. Has some nutmeg and is a little medicinal. Has a quite high bitterness. Too astringent finish.

Draught (backlog). Deep reddish amber colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is alcohol, some sweet caramel as well as some spices and mild toffee. Flavour is sweet malts, some spices and somewhat bitter, but still quite sweet finish.
