On tap at The Beer Spa Restaurant & Bar, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out straw, biscuity malt and some herbal hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with straw, biscuity malt and gentle hops. Fresh and clean, but pretty forgettable.

On tap at The Beer Spa Restaurant & Bar, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt and a hint of caramel. Flavour is nice and malty, with bready malt, some caramel and dark red fruits. Not all that complex, but it's nice and malty. Good stuff.

Keg at Kaldi Bar. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is quite fresh, fragrant, bready malts, light floral, toasty grain and grass. The taste is dry, more bitter than I would expect from a golden ale, grassy, cracker, white bread, dough and straw with a lingering bitterness through the finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Very drinkable stuff with a good bitterness. Very drinkable.

Bottle from Vínbúðin Austurstræti in Reykjavík. Pours dark copper with a beige head. Aroma is floral with some slightly roasty malt. Almost med body. Seems a bit more like a hoppy amber than a pale ale. Slightly roasty malt with a good amount of hop that seems floral. Reads like an EPA, but it doesn’t really come together that way for me.
