Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of tropical fruit and light malt. Taste is orange, tropical fruit. Bitter finish.

Bottle from Vinibudin, Hevregerdi. This is 6%. Appearance - golden with a fluffy head and a slight haze. Nose - grapes, earthy/farmyard. Taste - gooseberry, lemon pith. Resin. Palate - light to medium bodied, dry bitter finish. Overall - was in the mood for a bitter finish, so it worked for me.

Bottle at Vinbudin Heidrun, Reykjavik. Pours darker amber, almost coppery colour, topped with medium sized tan ehad. Mild caramle nose, biscuits and a bit of chocolate, hint of roastiness. Medium sweet, biscuity with caramel. Medium bitterness. Sparkly. Gentle aftertaste, a bit metallic actually. Lighter body.

Bottle from Vinbudin, Hevragerdi. Appearance - deep amber to chestnut. Attractive off white lacing. Nose - malt loaf with suggestion of raisin too. Taste - more malt loaf, going into molasses. Palate - medium bodied, creamy in texture. Nice tapered finish. It has the weight in the mouth of at least a Dubbel. Overall - served quite cold so impressed with the strength of the malty notes coming through. Really enjoyable.

Flaska från Islands monopol. Tack Oli! Mörk med ljusbeiget skum. Sött och lätt kryddigt med snällt rostade toner. Ganska typisk, lättdrucken julöl. Gör sig säkert bra till lite fetare och mustigare mat.

On tap at Saeta Svinid in Reykjavik. Brown with a thin, frothy head. Aroma is caramel, burnt toast, cigarette ash. Bittersweet. Finishes with burnt notes, light coffee. Good.

Light herb in what tastes otherwise like an English pale ale. Orange pour with decent head. Some citrus. Angelica herb has a light earthy moss aroma like licking lava rocks. Bottle.
