Dark gold to copper colour. Aroma of malt, candy and Belgian yeast. Plenty of malt in the flavour. Also a touch of dried fruit. It really dries out, nice finish. Just lacks a bit of depth.

Grainy with a malty back. Lots of sweetish grain. Bready, sweetish, no bitterness. A bit too dealcoholised, sweetish bready in the back. Hints of floral hops in the aftertaste under the grainy sweetish body.

Fles gekregen van Roelzie, thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een licht troebel goudgeel bier met een witte schuimkraag. Het aroma is citrusachtig met tonen van mout en gist. De smaak is citrus achtig en zacht hoppig. Ebt snel weg.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, from Speciaalbierpakket, 20230520) The beer poured brown and cloudy. Its head was large, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had malts, caramel, dark chocolate and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, candi sugar, toasted notes, Belgian style yeast and bitterness. Aftertaste had toasted notes, malts and bitterness. A nice malty and sweet brew.
