Cockroach Brew heeft Oekrainse en Rotterdamse roots, brouwer is de Oekrainer Serheii Lysenko. Serheii had als bierliefhebber een bierwinkel in Oekraine, maar heeft deze door de oorlog helaas moeten achterlaten. Zijn passie voor bier is echter niet vergaan, en in Rotterdam heeft hij nu onder de naam Cockroach Brew zijn eerste eigen bieren op de markt gebracht. Gebrouwen bij de Kaapse Brouwers

Can. Clear dark golden with small head. Caramel malts, biscuits, bread crust. Nice maltbasez sweet and complex with soft pastry and bread notes. The hops are more grassy and have some dried dusty flowers and herbal tea with a finish of blueberries. Solid medium bodied, a bit oily. Decent beer, but the hops are not that amazing for an IPA.

Can. Hazy light yellow golden. Soft pineapple, oats, wheat, dry leafy hops, kiwi, starfruit, lime zest, CO2. Light sweet and bitter. Over light bodied. A bit watery but tasty.
