Bottle (Dank nach Säckingen...äh Konstanz!): Deep amber, a bit unclear - presumably, medium-sized and slowly collapsing tanned head; mild to moderate dryish toasty-caramelly and green-hoppy nose with fruity traces; moderate bitter flavour, a malty sweetness is hardly detectable, pretty soft; lingering bitter fruity-hoppy finish. Well crafted, but IMHO not very harmonic...

Bottle: Golden, cloudy, small and rather quickly diminishing loose white head; citric and mainly piney hops plus a good dash of sweet malt in the robust bitter-sweet nose; solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and really soft; long and lingering - with hops sticking to the palate in the aftertaste - solid bitter-sweet piney-malty finish with traces of warming alcohol.Very well crafted and well drinkable Indisches Bleich-Ale...

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Häffner Bräu Hopfenstopfer California Sunset ].[ Trade by Beerhunter111 ]. Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, tropical fruit, mango - peach. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit, flowers, pale malt, fruity hops, citrus, mango - peach. Draft at castle Pub. Hazy yellow color, big fluffy white head. Aroma of mixed citrus. Taste has lightly bitter lemon and grapefruit. Easy drinking.

Pours cloudy light orange. The aroma is blood orange, grapefruit, mango. Very promising. Taste is mildly bitter with overripe citric undertones. The overripe, almost rancid character strengthed going into the second half of the bottle as the beer turned murky with increasingly visible floaters. Perhaps I caught an off bottle. It was enough to detract from but not ruin an otherwise pleasing brew. Finishes with a touch of lemon. Mixed, but okay.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a mid-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Mildly grassy and heavily fruity hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, as well as resiny and yeasty spice. Bitter flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Dry and soft malty base with resiny, herbal-spicy and fruity hops, lingering into the dry and hop bitter finish with a lasting aftertaste. Not particularly balanced but it works fine as a nasty hop bomb. 08.II.17

29-01-17 // bottle. Pours a hazy orange beer with a solid white head. Lovely hoppy nose, so much fruits. Taste is dominated by fruity hops, mango, maracuja, lime. Very well balanced and so rich in flavours. Well done.
