Bottle @ the hotel. Clear amber body with a nice, lacing tan head. Aroma is malty with bread, hint of toast and some caramel (close to butterscotch but maybe not). Flavor is rather sweet malt, some caramel, toast, some general fruitiness and moderate bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Easy drinkable, not particular exiting, reminds me a bit about beginners home brew from extract kit. Would be fun to taste again after a few more batches and more experience.

Bottle, at the brewpub. It's s lightly hazy dark amber colored beer with a creamy beige head of moderate size. Bready, caramel aroma with a faint yeasty hint and a generic fruityness. Fruity, caramel aroma with bread notes, some roasted malt notes and a light floral touch. Pine cone hints. It's medium bodied, smooth, and perhaps a bit too heavy on the carbonation. Fruity finish with a bready malt touch in the finish. A decent one, but nothing special. 180704

Dear reader (if there are anyone). If you stumble upon this beer and for some reason read this. Do not hesitate to buy it. It has probably changed when you are there. This beer was unfortunately not very drinkable at my visit. It was served to cold and had almost no carbonation. When it got warmer it contained weird sour notes. Not pleasant at all.

Small fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, slightly cloudy light golden colored. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish fruity, wet hay, paper, weeds, grain, sour grass, minerals, fruit salt, old wash cloth. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, soda powder, fruit salt, paper, wet hay, sour grass, wet grain, flowers, hints citrus acid. Light bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. As a k�lsch, it's a bummer. But it would probably work fine in the summer sun after all, as it's slightly lacto "infected". With some time, it would probably turn into a nice enough clean berlinerweisse.

Bottle. A clear golden coloured beer with a white head. The aroma is quite fruity-sourish, with a light grain touch. Clean flavor too, but a bit acidic considering the style. Fruityness, some pale malts, acidity and sour fruit. Some yellow plums. Medium body, dry, and with a nice carbonation. Fruity finish. A decent first try. 180203
