Bottle, 75cl, at Jæren Ølfestival pre-tasting. It’s clear in the glass, pale golden in color, with a few dissipating white bubbles. Sweet apple aroma with a touch of alcohol. Grass notes and some pear hints. It’s warming, medium to full-bodied and very softly carbonated. Flowery, perfumed apple flavor with some alcohol, grass and a good dash of sweetness. Lasting sweetness. Too sweet and still this one, a bit too perfumed as well. 220812

Small bubbly shortlasting head, clear golden color. Aroma is fresh fruity, ripe apples, hay, flowers, grass, apple peel, minerals, sorrel, yellow apples. Taste is dry sour-ish fruity, apple cores, hay, minerals, unripe apples, sorrel, flowers, alcohol, apple peel. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice enough.

Tiny fizzy shortlasting head, slightly cloudy straw colored. Aroma is slightly fresh fruity, apple peel, flowers, yeast, hay, ripe apples, grass, minerals, leafs, apple cores. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, apple cores, sorrel, apple peel, minerals, grass, bark, flowers, unripe apples, alcohol, hay. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh and dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle, 75cl corked. From trade with Cunningham. A clear one, straw colored, with more bubbles than expected. Headless, although some white bubbles initially. The aroma is a bit alcoholic, with a good apple scent, some grassy hints and a touch of ripe pear. In the far back there's a light acetone touch as well, but very, very light. It's quite dry on the palate, though with some apple juice sweetness. Not much alcohol considering the ABV. Pear, grass hints and a flowery touch too. Apple, pear, grass and a faint diacetyl-ish touch in the finish. A decent cider indeed. 220302
