We make small batch, craft beer in the heart of Derbyshire. All of our beers will be designed, brewed and packaged onsite in our new town centre micro-brewery and are made using locally sourced ingredients and materials.
We keep our carbon footprint as low as possible - mainly selling locally and sourcing our supplies as close to home as we can - our ingredients come from Nottingham, our cans come from Stafford and our labels are printed in Burton. Our packaging is mainly recyclable or made from recycled materials. We keep waste to a minimum too - our used water is recycled for cleaning and our spent grain is given to a local small holding to feed their livestock!
Setting up a commercial brewery has been a dream for many years, so thank you for checking us out and trying our beer! We constantly rotate our brewing schedule and open our webshop once a month for you to order our beers. We then deliver the week after so will always be bringing you super fresh beer. Our beers are also available in local pubs and bottle shops as well as occasional farmers markets.

Crick Metal Dave - Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Hazy-opaque gold. Thin frothy foamy translucent white head. Aroma is sour with bug bitter malts. Light-mediium bitter woth underlying fruit. Light-medium bodied. Average soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent.

Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Inky. Frothy foamy tan head. Aroma is big a sweet - caramel and chocolate. Flavourwise it's got a bitter core and sweet edge with additional burnt caramel and mocha. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Nice. 7.5

Keg at Hull Minster Beer Fest. Opaque ruby red. Thin foamy white head. Aroma is sugary and sour and cola-esque. Sour. Tart. Slightly sugary. Citrusy and vinous. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice enough but lacks impact.

On tap at Crich Brew Co taproom, Belper, Sunday 12th October 2025 in the company of Dad and Pauline. Pours shark eye black with a beige head. Dark fruits, tart and liquorice and a little bitter chocolate, thick in the mouth. Nice, but it's not at all sweet and certainly not for Pauline.
