Near black with a bubbly tan head. Soft roasted malt aroma, dark fruits with roasted malt, a touch of coffee and licorice and a dry slightly bitter finish.

10/10/2024. Cask at Nottingham Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours clear straw golden / amber with a small frothy just off-white head. Aroma is malt, biscuit, citrus, grain, slightly veggie. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slightly watery, average to soft carbonation. It's okay.

Can at home from Beer52. Jet black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are malty sweet chocolate and light smoke. Medium to rich body.
