12/7/2024. Cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival. Pours clear bright golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is hoppy, grapefruit, musty apple, malt, flowers, straw, slight worty husky edge. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Drying finish. Improved well on first impressions.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 9th July 2024. Amber with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Fruity aroma. Pungent, bitter and smoky in-mouth, and a grassy finish. Plenty of body for such low gravity, and a smooth mouthfeel.

On keg at Heaven and Ale, Barnsley - cloudy orange body with a short white froth. Sharp bitter pine and spruce up front, unripe peach and stone fruit, some bitter tropical stuff.

Cask at The Park Tavern, Eltham. Gold pour with a white head. Piney, citrusy nose. Bitter citrus & piney tsste, quite a bitter number.

Ask at the Lincoln beer festival 2024. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty biscuits and sweet fruity. Light body.

Aroma is low key. Vague caramel and malts. Clear amber. Thin frothy white head has a bald patch. Medium-heavy bitter. Quinine with a light fruit edge. Malts. Thin. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Basic if drinkable.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from SPAR-EAT17. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy, pure white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of peach, flinty minerals, pine needles, apple sauce. Light bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Dry, pithy and flinty finish. Quite basic, a little off.

Cask at the Duke William, Stourbridge. Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma is orange and toast. Taste has rusty orangey bread with toast in the finish.
