Pendle Beer Festival 2026 Beer#4. Very dark clear red coloured. Dark malty but the citrus giving hops make this quite fruity. Some Black IPA's taste this way.

750ml bottle from Leith Bottle Shop - clear golden body with a lasting fizzy white head. Bready yeast start, sharp spicy tartness, pithy citrus, slightly medicinal herbiness. Class act.

Cask at the White Horse, Lincoln/. OPff black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are roasted bitter, some chocolate and burnt sugars. Medium to creamy body.

Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Hazy-opaque light gold. No head. Aroma has tart berries and gooseberry. Flavourwise it is sour with berries and citrus. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice.
