Draught at Timeout Market 9/29/21. Medium hazy orange juice with no head. Sweet honey and bubble gum seems more Massachusetts than Vermont. Juicy citrus is nice but there's some booze and a bit too much yeast character for my liking. Sweet and bubble gummy with orange and mango and papaya. Thick texture, quite malty but with lots of sharp alcohol showing through. Not on the same level as most other VT IPAs. Seems way too emulative of trillium/treehouse (though bubble gummier than both).

Pours a hazy lemon yellow from a can. Nice lemon herb aroma, light, slightly watery similar flavor, but with a nice hoppy burniness at the end. Well-balanced. Typically I am not a fan of the "lower" ABV beers due to their wateriness, this one defies that generality. Very good beer.

Pours clear mahogany into an English pint. White conglomerate head with good retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Dark caramel, brown bread and mild pine aromas. Medium bodied and dry with treacle and pumpernickel upfront turning to sourdough before turning to bitter earth in the lasting finish.
