Located on the banks of the Cailly River on the site of a former dye works in Malaunay, the Union-B brewery offers craft beers made on site. Here, beer can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors! Union-B is about combining Norman craft beers, creativity and craftsmanship. We are proud to have created our world around beer.

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Fine fruity yeasty aroma. Starts fine malty, spicy, yeasty. Grainy notes. Fruity notes of lemon, orange, mild bitter touch. Finish well balanced, again wheaty-spicy. Interesting!

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that bottle! Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice small head. Grainy sweetish nose. Starts intense malty-grainy, alcoholic, sharp. Fruity notes of plum, some berries, malty sweetish background. Notes of some sweets, some liquorice. Finish could be more balanced. Okay.

bottle from Le Comptoir de Christelle in Ouville-la-Rivière (76). Golden with a small white head. Sweet fruity nose. Full-bodied, quite sweet malty base, some pleasant fruity, citrusy and piney hops are present but the malty sweetness overpowers them.

bottle from Le Comptoir de Christelle in Ouville-la-Rivière (76). Golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Malty base, slightly grainy, with shy but good fruity hops in the finish.

Bottle from Au Comptoir de Christelle in Ouville-La-Riviere (76). Cloudy pale yellow, tall white head. Wheat and yeasty with good fruity, spicy and orange hints. Refreshing and well balanced.

330ml bottle @ Nausicaa Sealife Centre, France, accompanying my Nausicaa salmon burger. Drunk from the bottle as no glasses available so no comment on appearance, though my guess is it pours blonde. Aroma is hoppy. Good hoppy notes to taste, nice fresh citrus alongside a nicely sweet blonde profile. Quite flavoursome, creamy hints. Pretty decent.
