Cask at CBC. Clerkenwell on 28th January 2017. Deep brown/red with pale tan foam and scant lacing. Sweet malt aroma, with roastiness. Roast malt in-mouth with tangy fruitiness. A tart fruity finish with nutty roast malt in the upper mouth. Light-bodied with a smooth, light mouthfeel.

[ As Hop Studio Passion ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, pale malt, light hoppy, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, pale malt, fruity and malty, hop and malt bitter. Cask at The Grayston Unity, Halifax, West Yorkshire, Friday 9th December 2016 Pours clear pale gold with a hint of haze but otherwise pretty good clarity and a small white head atop. Crisp, dry fruity (lemony) and with a good bitterness throughout. Nice beer, I had two of these, had the other when Loz popped around here with me half hour later. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bright clear amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light and dry and has decent fine minerally carbonation. Surprisingly thin malts, sweet and tangy, caramel tang develops. Tangy dried fruits and tangy banana esters. Light dry finish. Sadly no sherry or port. A bit tangy.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, apple wood, cheese, ash, smoke. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, smoked, apple wood, roasted, dark malt. Tried at the Golden Lion, Osmotherly. Pale hazy amber colour with a white head. Aroma certainly has grapefruit, and a slight sourness. not a refreshing citrus as id expected, fairly sweet finish.
