Taster pour on tap at Rising Pint Brewfest. It's a cloudy light brown-dark yellow with light sparkle and thin cap of off-white head with decent lacing. Aroma is berry, stone fruit. Taste is strong stone fruit, berries, bread. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, aroma is not strong but taste makes up for it. I like the mix of hops--not standard citrus, grapefruit.

16oz can pours out hazy straw topped with a white head. Nose is nice sweet over ripe banana wheat and spice notes. Taste is more of the nice banana wheat spice kick.

Draught at Schatzi's: amber with white head. Toasty and caramel. Giving me vienna vibes with toast and light bitterness.

16oz can from Halftime. Hazy dark amber, small fizzy head. Malty aroma, toffee. Taste is also malt centric, veering off to woody hop character, finishing dry and sticky. Classic NW DIPA territory.

Can pour. Appearance is opaque orange-tinged yellow with lots of sparkle, 2-finger white foamy head with excellent retention and mild lacing. Aroma is strong lemony citrus ester and hint of banana, reminiscent of a Hefeweizen. Taste follows aroma. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, lively carbonation (kind of a painful zing that dominates the experience) and somewhat dry, yeasty finish as taste. Overall, an interesting beer with less popular hops so hard to know what to expect. It's similarity to a hefeweizen was unexpected but cool. Too carbonated!!!--let it sit a bit.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana, thanks Tom! Aroma shows soft fruit and a floral hint. This is my 1st brew with Trident hops. Flavor is a mellow rendition of the aroma. Lower bitterness in a medium body. Enjoyable and ai like the new hop.
