The story of the Rye River Brewing Company began back in 2013 with the introduction of the McGargles brand. We have grown both our team and our product range since then. Based in Celbridge, Kildare the brewery employs over 40 people. We now produce a range of over twenty beers under the Solas, Crafty Brewing Company, Grafters and McGargles brands

hazy chestnut to mahogany colour, half inch of creamy beige-ish ecru-head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma and taste of dried sour cherry, toffeee, some raspberry (especially in the aroma), marzipan, dark chocolate and some whisky malt notes; I like it very much!

330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with small to average, thick, dense, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, dark beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, chocolately and roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of toffee, chocolate, coffee. Taste is bitter roasty and chocolately, minimally nutty, dark malty, mildly bitter hoppy as well, notes of coffee, toffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, minimally metallic overtones with a touch of iron, subtle residual sweetness with a touch of treacle and caramel. Watery texture, dry palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Very nice composition, quite rich considering its low abv - pretty good.

chestnut colour with mahogany hue, moderate sized creamy beige-ish notes; aroma of toffee, vanilla, some apple peel, cinnamon, alcoholic and whisky notes; taste is the same with dried sour cherry, prune and some slight anise; excellent one!
