330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, fairly lacing, off-white head. Hoppy aroma has lemon notes, hints of lemon tee, a herbal touch, sweetish floral honey overtones. Taste is moderately sweet malty with a floral honey touch, slightly dry hoppy overtones with a touch of lemon and lemon tee. Somehow homogenised and slightly sugary sweet.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Rotem. Dark amber-brown, not opaque, with no head. Slightly oxidized aroma of chocolate, a bit stale, with a bit of roast. Slightly sweetish flavor, a bit oxidized, with chocolate, cardboard, a bit of roast and a bitterish finish. Kinda watery. Not a great Stout.

Bottle from Tesco. Light honey gold with a thin head. Aroma has lots of honey. Flavour is sticky, a little sweet, wheat. Finish has a little spice. Classified this as a belgian wheat, not sure what it is really, average enough.

Bottle from tesco. Dark brown with no great head. Aroma is thin chocolate malt. Flavour is bitter chocolate, thin texture, portery more so than a stout. And not a great one at that.

Bottle from Tesco, Longford [181114]
Caramel ruby brown, clear, thin off white head dissipated
Aroma of soft toasted malts, touch of caramel, barely anything
Taste of very soft sweet caramel malts, very soft toasted malts, dab of red berries, hint of toffee. Very weak flavour, but what I’m straining to get is quite good.
Palate - Soft carb, thin body, soft sweet, slight bitterness, watery palate. Finish rapid but getting a hint of brown bread
Overall - It’s too attenuated and watery at the moment IMHO, almost diluted with water. It would be a lot better just ramping up the flavour that’s already there.

Keg @ 57 Thomas Street, Manchester. Copper-gold with a thin head. Full-bodied winter warmer type keg ale. Has a light hop due to its texture with a gritty but sweet and palatable malt with toffee notes evident.
