The story of the Rye River Brewing Company began back in 2013 with the introduction of the McGargles brand. We have grown both our team and our product range since then. Based in Celbridge, Kildare the brewery employs over 40 people. We now produce a range of over twenty beers under the Solas, Crafty Brewing Company, Grafters and McGargles brands

Bottle. Clear Amber with a minimal head. Aroma is caramel and hoppy fruit. Taste is sweet caramel, orange and grapefruit, bitter hop, light malty finish. One of the best supermarket beers --- Beer merged from original tick of Grafters Working Day IPA on 10 Oct 2020 at 20:07 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5. Original review text: Bottle from Dunnes. Clean gold with a medium head. Aroma of resinous malt. Flavour is fruity malt, orange hop bitterness, sticky fruit finish.

Smoked Dunkelweizen from Rye River Brewing Company

Draught at ICBF15. Murky brown with a thin head. Aroma is lightly smoked bacon. Flavour is nutty malt, greasy bacon. Decent effort.

Bottle. Brownish-red color with creamy foam. Aroma: caramel, diacetyl, malt, a bit berry jam and floral hops. Taste: a little watery, caramel, biscuit with hazelnuts, a little butter, dry finish with a slight bitterness of hops.

Flaska inköpt i Dublin. F-ing close to tvål, i doften. Det finns även lite kakig, läs engelsk maltsötma, i doft och smak. APA, vet jag inte. Kanske har bryggeriet sett detta och skrivit ner det på ett vykort. Men ölet är definitivt inte av denna sort.

Flaska inköpt i Dublin. Rubinröd färg med tunn skumslöja. Here we go again - Brittisk ale. Kakig doft. Lätt fruktig smak med karamellig sötma och fudgekola. Blunda och ta en zip. Svårt att särskilja från generisk engelsk bitter, mild, ESB, you name it. If you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all, typ. Glömde nästan att tillägga att den är vattnig, mycket vattnig.

Bottle at Viking Grace. Copper-ruby color, small off-white head. Nutty caramel aroma. Light-bodied. Caramalt, nutty maltyness, English hops. Quite traditional English/Irish Red Ale.

Draught at ICBF15. Dark caramel with a medium head. Aroma is pale lager. Flavour is lager with a bit of caramel in it, lacks the Vienna portion.

Baltic Porter from Rye River Brewing Company

Draught at ICBF15. Jet black with a tan head. Aroma of liquorice and toasted malts. Flavour is very solid for the abv. Rich toasted / burnt malts, licquorice, long dry finish. Really good.
