Canned (thanks CueSheet & SADESA). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, some herbs, bready notes as well as some sweet maltiness. Flavour is floral, grassy and quite hop dominated with some mild notes of toffee as well. Surprisingly good.

33cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - amber, slight haze, some head. Nose - green beans and pale malt (cornflakes) Taste - more of the green vegetables, more of the breakfast cereal. Palate - light body but decent balance, perhaps almost as clean as the ’Pure’. Overall - it’s another good lager. I like it.

This is the house beer at Brew on Quay in Auckland. Draft. Clear deep golden amber color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of peppery hay. Taste is watery bitter lemon.

From bottle. Smell of malt, starch. Lively and plentiful carbon. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, sugar, slight added hoppiness in finish. Medium sweet, faintly bitter in end. Nice balance.

Big offwhite coarseish head doesn’t last long. Deep yellow body with carbonation. Light dusty fruity aroma with earthy notes. Dry-sweetish grainy fruity taste with dusty alcoholic notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish dusty grainy aftertaste with papery fruity notes. It’s perfectly OK, but not very exciting. (0.3l can, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Bouteille 330ml. De couleur jaune-dorée et claire. Nez de grains de malt pâle sucrés, léger de maïs avec des notes de houblon herbeux. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen ainsi qu’une texture aux notes aqueuses. Léger goût croustillant de grains de malt pâle sucrés dès de l’entrée en bouche suivi de notes de maïs sucré puis en finale l’on retrouve des notes amères de houblon herbeux aux faibles traces terreuses. Post-goût court aux notes sèches, légèrement amer de houblon herbeux. (2005)
