From a 330ml bottle on 18/1/2013. Pours a clear dark golden with a biggish head. Has a typical, modest stale grain smell. Flavour wise, there’s a dash of sweet malt and not much else. This is saved from being horrible by a good dash of bitterness at the end. Still, it’s quite watery and ordinary.

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of metal, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry metallic finish.

Bottle. Pours piss yellow with a medium white head that dissipates quickly with decent lacing. Strong urine aroma when freshly opened, fading to grain, grass. Flavor is lightly sweet and grainy, with a bit of refreshing bitterness on the finish and a slight metal far finish.

Yellow colour with a withe head that leaves a nice lacing. Mild grainy aroma. Light to medium body. Moderate sweet and light bitter. Mild caramel malt flavour. The trick is probably to serve it a bit cold.

Canned. Clear golden, minimal head. Grassy chemical nose. Mid sweet with some grainy malt and clean mouthfeel. Slight pear and mint, notes of vegetables. No bitterness. Redundant.

300 ml can from Systembolaget in Mölndal. BB 270313, tasted on October 26, 2012.Pours into a honey yellow to pale golden color, medium sized fairly lasting white head that settles into a half creamy thing while dissipating slowly. Sweet, sugary, some vegetables, hints of malt, some chemical estery fruity scent. In the smell I can find a bit of almond paste, alcohol and canned strawberries as well. Sweet, thin, cream, sugary, some malt, hints of bitterness, somewhat fruity taste. Medium mouthfeel with a bit held back carbonation, goes to smooth almost, inte oäven. Low bitteness. Mineral and wet stone mixed with sand finish. Prolonged bitterness to the cloying sweet side. Not bad, but then not very interesting either. I would think Systembolaget could find plenty of this style of beer among the Swedish macros, don’t see the need to import from half way around the world something that already exist in abundance among the local selection. Oh well, if you like the fairly held back and characterless pale lagers, go for it.

Aroma has a musky tone, flavor has a little snap to it. Nice pillowy head on this beer. I’m out of season on this one, it would be perfect on a hot summer’s day.

Sample at a tasting at Systembolaget, September 2012. What a boring beer. Sweet with light notes of yeast, metal and malt. Nonexistent aftertaste.
