Bottle. Between gold and amber with a fat coat of white head that hangs around. Strong bread, peat that just fall short of medicinal, bitter oranges, herbal notes. A big pale ale. The sweetness and phenols are just enough to hold the booze in check - just on the cusp of hot before it contributes to a drying and bitter finish. Interesting with a curious an original way of achieving balance.

On tap at Lovebucket. Pours hazy gold. Tangerine, grapefruit, bread, lemon, little clove. Thick, chewy body. Nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours bright yellow. Sharp, lemon, grapefruit, orange, little tropical fruit. Nice effervescent body. Good.

On tap at Vultures Lane. Pours gold. Grapefruit, orange, lemon, little biscuit, grapefruit peel finish. Good body. Minor improvement on the original.

On tap at Lovebucket. Pours milky hazy pale yellow. Smell is all sour plum. Plums, lemon juice, bread, little lactic acidity. Lovely stuff.

500ml bottle. Pours an unexpected bright gold. Lemon, biscuit, toffee, sherbet, peat, honey. Bit unusual, and not in a great way.

On tap. Pours bright gold with a decent head. Peach, lemon, apricot, lots of biscuit. Decent.
