Cydefx is a craft cyder producer, based in Ipswich, Suffolk. We are a community first company whose ethos is to produce a real cider beverage from natural ingredients that are sourced locally, grown organically and within sustainable processes.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Pale gold colour, no head and aroma of apple & pear. Taste is sweetish, apples, pears, fruity fleshy, gooseberry hints, with some tart acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium dry finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle from Hopsters, Ipswich. Golden colour, white foam head and aroma of apple, fruit. Taste is tart, appley, core, skin, fruity, with drying acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tart finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle from Hopsters, Ipswich. Sparkling, golden colour, white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of apple, fruity, caramel note. Taste is tangy, appley, some skin and core, boozey, with mellow tartness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, tangy fleshy apple finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle from Hopsters, Ipswich. Hazy orange gold colour, short-lived bubbly white foam head and aroma of apple, caramel, funk. Taste is tangy, tart, appley, fleshy fruity, caramel hints, with zingy citric acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry acidic boozy finish. Quite drinkable

30/5/2025. BIAB at the 38th Colchester Real Ale and Cider Festival. Perry pear herbal grassy. Nice light tartness. Enjoyable.
