(swing top bottle) Dark orange colour with medium foamy, slightly tanned head. My first impression was a clear hint of umeboshi (japanese sour-pickled plums) complemented with malts and light hops. Medium bodied with creamy texture. Malty but quite dry & bitter taste, which could be better balanced. Anyway, surprisingly good.

(bottle) Dark brown colour with medium tanned head. Aromas of bread and malts. Starts with smoked but sweetish malts, it has a rather thin, unbalanced finish of malts and hops. Fairly average, but low priced.

(swing top bottle) Clear golden colour with small white head. Sweetish malty strawy aroma. Rather unbalanced too sweet taste according to the poor malts and even poorer hops in the finish. Better buy something else.

(swing top bottle) Pale golden colour with small white head. Malty grainy sweetish aroma with a touch of straw. Medium bodied light malty taste with quite dry hoppy finish. A good cheapo here in the Rhine-Ruhr area of Germany.

(bottle) Clear yellow colour with foamy white head. Grassy hoppy aroma with a little lemon. Mild hoppy taste with very light hoppy finish. Regarding to the price of 0,40 €/ 500 ml fairly ok.

(bottle) Golden colour with fast diminishing head. Slight malty and fruity nose, also malty flavour with a little solvent like aftertaste. Not very good but quite cheap (in the double sense): 0,35 € /500 ml.

Clear golden color, short white head. Aroma of banana, wheat. Sweet banana milkshake in taste, bit more heavy from some yeast and wheat. Quite thin.

Clear yellow color, short white head. Aroma of grass and hay, some hops. Taste is grainy, bit sweet malty and quite bitter. Bitter palate.
