In a parkfest, Vienna, Austria. Sampled by Kis Salétrom and Szebeni Ászok on the prelude of the 3rd Wiener Bierfest. SZÁ: Hááát! Kukoricát sose szerettem igazán a sörben. Az a vetmalacoknak való, kicsit a savanykás is, de legalább a műanyag pohár fain. KS: A lágersörök közül könnyű kitűnni, neki ez sem sikerült.

Tap at Hoppalas Bieradies, Vienna. Pours dark brown with a foamy, creamy tan head. Good if mild toasted caramel and semi-dark malt nose. Really sweet flavor, like sugary chocolate candy, with some further caramel character. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Faintly syrupy finish, very sweet, with some sickly sugary caramel, dark malts, and slight coffee candy. OK, but certainly too sweet overall, even for a dunkel.

Tap at Hoppalas Bieradies, Vienna. Pours clear, pale yellow with a fine, white cream head. Fine bready nose with some dusty hay. medium sweet flavor, more dusty hay, bread, white sugar, faint lemon. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Crisp, very clean to finish with sweet and delicate bready malts and light bitterness. Nice enough beer.
