From wooden cask, third shared with Finn at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Wood Bar. Bubbles on the surface, diminishing off-white head, off-black in the glass. Chocolate malts on the nose. Flavoured with chocolate, vanilla sweetness to it. Moments of dark fruits towards the ending. Pretty good porter. (2nd day of the festival, 23.01.2020).

Served from the wood barrel @ Manchester Camra beer Fest 2019. Thin beige head stayed on a dark reddish brown still body. Malt, berry & wood aroma. Medium bodied, smooth on the palate with a clean dry back. Wood, sherry, bitter, berry & spicy tastes. Nice!
