Ridiculously hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish one to two centimetre tall off-whtie head that simply leaves a thin layer on top of the ultra-hazy, ninety five per cent golden glow. Aroma of hay, grass, flowers, citrus fruits, pine and a good dose of mango candy make this fairly robust, but complex in the nose. Medium-bodied; Rich lemon and mango fruits show at first, but a slightly astringent and strong malt note then hits, with a relatively pungent aspartame and fake-sugar like bite, that gives of an additional bitterness, more than just the alpha acids from the hops. Aftertaste is relatively robust with a lot of hops of course, a good deal of rich malts, bunches of fruit-based nuances (especially tangerines and lemons) with some lighter spicey notes from yeast, dry grasses and even some lemongrass is noticeable. Overall, a pretty nice beer and opening taste from a local brewery to me that hits pretty well, with a strong complexity and range - I'll be happy to sample more from this brewery in the near future. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Union Market in Arlington (Ballston), Virginia on 26-September-2021 for US$4,00, canned on 27-April-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 01-October-2021.
